"Thank you" is the sweetest, dearest prayer you can make.
I heard a speaker voice that sentiment recently, and their sincerity when they said it was so real that the statement went right through me and straight into my heart.
Then I returned to what felt like the grind of daily living, and my heart spat it right back out.
I've learned, though, that I can not only act my way to better thinking, behave my way to healthier feeling... I can sometimes pray my way back to a sincere, heart-felt gratitude, too.
I can rebuild it one silent, little, honest 'thank you' at a time.
It's sweet because it changes my whole perspective, and it's dear like a life preserver is dear to a drowning man.
More often than not, that is my prayer as I lay my head on the pillow at night. To me, it represents EVERYTHING I'm grateful for.

Lately I've been struggling with the "best" words to say in my prayers. I think God must have "sensed" this about me and gave me a prayer in my thoughts as I awoke this morning. I made sure to take a moment to write it down so it didn't escape me. I then neeled down as soon as I got out of bed to sincerely pray this new prayer. I already feel it working! If I find myself struggling again with prayer, I hope to remember all I sometimes need to say is a sincere "thank you" to God. Also, I want to send a sincere thank you to you, Mr. SP for helping me with this spiritual stuff; I do find it extremely helpful and for that I am also grateful! :)
