I wonder about those who are sober for a long time but still have many secrets. I suppose that is being a dry drunk. But it has made me wonder.


Being honest with oneself is perhaps the hardest thing to do. Learning to recognize the truth is a process that involves effort. Addicts are experts at avoiding the harsh reality of truth. Part of change involves learning to accept and dealing head on with the truth.
