So true. I wish that all speakers would check their egos at the door.


A funny/ sad thing happened today. I went to a meeting I secretary at. Didn't have a speaker lined up, so asked two people who have time and have not spoken as far as I know for a while. They both shot me down. Too much sadness and intensity they said. I love how they look to explain how overwhelmed they are, yet I am like, if you don't want to share fine. I don't need to know why you don't want to work your program, yet they insist upon trying to dump it to me anyway. I learned a long time ago not to push people to share. I just love your post today, it makes it even clearer today that it is truly the message and not the messenger.
