This was my very first understanding of forgiveness. I was in early recovery in 2006/2007 as a stay at home mom with little to no program. I think most likely we could call it white knuckling or dry as hell. I watched Oprah & saw Gary Zukhav have this conversation with her. I had never really understood what was meant by forgiveness. It was a baffling concept at the age of 33. Now 40, I can say the program has given me the amazing gift of understanding and practicing forgiveness of myself and others. What a freedom! Thank you for providing me a moment of reflection. We really do grow in this program! :)
