Definitely! Life is a spectrum and it's our job to find the balance on that spectrum. And even after we figure out our defects they're always going to be a part of us, the way we reel them in and tame the beasts though, that makes all the difference. I heard that depressed people are usually the ones who see the world more realistically because they're not stuck in the idealistic clouds-- that said though, I don't want to be pessimistic and sad the rest of my life.
