In this context, okay, sometimes I'm a fool.
Sometimes I do "trip on what is behind me."
But in my defense, I'd like to offer that sometimes,
even though I've worked the 12 Steps and have little regret,
it feels like some of the stuff behind me reaches forward and grabs my ankle.

This is exactly how I've been feeling lately. It's hard sometimes not to look back. But I'm not going that way. :D
