Going to meetings and never sharing is like going to a gym and never working out. Sure, you're in the right place, but your results will be pretty limited.
Sure, it's a cutesy analogy.
A little hokey even.
Doesn't make it any less true, though.

The other night I caught myself...I was sitting in a meeting realizing I hadn't shared in two weeks. So I shared. Because not sharing is a sneaky way of my alcoholism getting me to disconnect!

For me it has a bit of a different twist. I can go to meetings and share over and over ... but until I WORK the steps it is like going to the gym without working out.
