peace on earth
good will towards men
I know it probably sounds a little grandiose,
but sometimes being sober makes me feel like I am part of the solution.
At least as a person in recovery I'm no longer part of the problem.
That can be a nice feeling,
and give you a little meaning,
a little direction,
a little substance,
when you really need it.
