Winston Churchill said it: Comparison is the thief of joy. Yeah, Win said it, but I keep having to (re) learn it.
But by the same token, when I've got my gratitude groove on, my attitude is pretty much bullet proof.
Meditation doesn't have to be a big rigamaroll. Several deep breaths and a particular mental image can be all it takes to change your state enough to prevent a meltdown. Or a breakdown.
This too shall pass.
