"Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens."
-- Kahlil Gibran
I cannot begin to express how true I have found this to be in the past few weeks.
I hope you're okay. I'd been wondering why you'd been quiet.
(Also, four years sober today. Hope you don't mind my sharing.)

Glad you are still blogging Mr SP, and hope things are working out for you.
Thanks for this, how very true. How much of my life I have wasted with wrong thinking.

The way my mind looks at is; I'm grateful to have a few words to read from you this morn.

I hope that all well with you and yours and glad to see you're post. Sometimes negativity creeps in, and AA slaps it right baack out.

I smiled when I read this and my tenseness dissipated. It's hard to be tense with a smile on your face... Thank you for the reminder.

Sometime early on in sobriety I came across, in Daily Reflections, a reminder that the only thing I truly control is my attitude.
That may have saved some lives.
