Some of the worst things that ever happened to me
have turned out to be
some of the best things that ever happened to me.
(So "in the moment" -- when the moment really, really sucks -- take heart.
You just never know.)

while it's happening, it's virtually impossible to realize this.

Knowing this helps me from freaking out "in the moment" and that's not always an easy thing to do. It is amazing how this is true so much of the time.
