hello family.
365 days ago I took my last drink. It hasnt been a year since I took a drink, its been a year since I took my last drink. its a start of a ANOTHER new year today. Yesterday, My higher power saw fit allow me to recognize many many things that needed my attention and WORK which incontrovertibly require ALOT more willingness for change in my life. Family issues that are tearing us apart are a huge deal right now. I was able to deal with an emotionally tempestuous day QUITE LITERALLY without even the mere thought of a drink as an option of even what I would want. I did however NOT immediately turn every situation over as I have been taught. I believe if I maintain some willingness to get the FOCK off my @ss and finish working my steps (which will include some new entries into my 4th step list =P); the peace and freedom from the circle of hell my life once reciprocated without any detectable seam or mere semblance of a potential break in continuity - shall be gifts that flow freely as I trudge the road of happy destiny.
My best friend Bobby D was strategically placed in my life to help show me the way to maintain my conscious contact with my higher power and recover from my seemingly unbearable existence. heh.. he also turned me onto your blog which has been a "daily" (I dont remember to come every day) source of insight, blessing, laughter, and wisdom.
THANK YOU ALL, mr. SP, the fellowship, and most of all to my higher power of MY understanding!

That's a very good way of viewing it. Never struggled with addiction myself, I am a trainee professional with alcohol and drugs but that is a good simple method of change . I also have my own website called my route to help www.myroutetohelp.co.uk
