hmmmmmm
I'm often reminded of how much I just don't know.

for me, "its not WHAT you know, its knowing what you dont know"
The longer God keeps me sober the more I appreciate the newcomers. They are my opportunity to reach out and help, but a barometer of where i was. That reminder is only available AT A MEETING. Its easy to see people that NEED help, hard to find any that want it.

With a moniker of "blonder than she pays to be" I can whole-heartedly agree with this. I am constantly surprised how the old behaviors can sneak up on me when I'm not looking, and sometimes when I am. The insanity of "this time I can control it" or "this time I won't get hooked" still gets me. With my drinking, abstinence was the only thing that worked. With the rest of my character defects, well, those I can control with God's help right? If I just try really really hard to not want it?
Thanks for understanding the insanity Mr. SP. And thanks for lighting a candle against it.
