the
way
to
prevent
this
(in my humble experience)
is
through
prayer
and
meditation.
(Or not. Some people like to explode. They use it as justification for all kinds of things, up to and including relapse. It's their permission mechanism. In fact. I would go so far as to say some of us deliberately work ourselves up to an explosion just so that we can relapse.)
Love the picture. I may have to use it on FB.

Talking about serenity the other night in group, your comment reminds me of a woman who spoke about how dangerous it was to stay in her head. I've come to realize my own alcoholic thinking was one of my worst enemies. Staying in my head..with my own thoughts, have often led me down a dark dangerous road that led to drinking. Love the blog thanks for the postings.

Wow, I just did this today. Tried to sabotage my new relationship because of my own irrational fears. Exploded. Stinkin Thinkin, Crazy making revisited...than God he said I'm not getting rid of him that easily.
Funny how we get comfortable in our disease and going back 'in' is a quick fix that doesn't work.
Nice blog, i'll be back!

It works better for me if I retreat, revamp and re-enter. Especially if it involves retreating to a meeting or phoning a friend.
